Berkshire Talent Partnership are proud to be working with a leading infrastructure and energy developer.

Our client has 1GW+ under construction or in operation, and 12GW+ of facility at advanced stages in their project development pipeline.

As such this developer are expanding their team and are currently hiring for a Gatesman to join a busy project team.

Reporting to the Construction Manager this position is responsible for Protecting premises from external threats, presenting a positive company image to visitors by welcoming and directing them around the premise


Responsibilities for the role include:
Greeting, Staff, Visitors, Customers and Deliveries and Conducting Security Checks:

  • Welcome visitors and employees as they enter the premises' gate.
  • Verify employees' access cards and ensure they record their punchin time before entering the building.
  • Conduct bag checks for customers and visitors to prevent unauthorized items from entering the building.

Collaborating with the Construction/Logistics Team:

  • Ensure that deliveries are received accurately by working closely with the Construction and Logistics teams.

Monitoring Gate Traffic:

  • Operate the gate to allow cars to enter and exit the premises.

Patrolling Project Premises:

  • Regularly patrol the premises to detect any signs of forced entry or intrusions.

Writing Reports:

  • Compile daily reports at the end of your shift or workday.
  • Document daily activities and security incidents, including property or equipment damages, the presence of unauthorized individuals, theft, etc.

Reporting Incidents and Calling for Help in Emergencies:

  • Promptly report any incidents and request assistance in case of emergencies as needed.

Adhering to Company Policies:

  • Ensure compliance with company policies when handling incidents.
