Description
Kitchen fitting

  • Floor and wall tiling
  • Minor plumbing repair e.g. replacing taps, wastes and shower valves etc.
  • Minor heating repair e.g. replacing radiator valves, replacing radiators, and repairing pipes etc.
  • Bathroom fitting
  • Repairing and replacing shower cubicles
  • Painting & decorating
  • Studwork and boarding
  • Minor plastering works/hole repair
  • Repair and/or lay vinyl flooring
  • Minor electrical works incl. replacing sockets and switches, installing light fittings/LED bulkheads, extending sockets etc.
  • Basic carpentry incl. hanging doors, fitting door locks and latches, fitting skirting, architrave, laminate flooring etc.
  • Any other reasonable activity commensurate with the role
  • Good communication skills and be able to relay repair details to office staff for quoting and billing
  • A problem solving approach to fixing existing installations
  • A friendly and personable style with customers and tenants
  • Own vehicle and be willing to travel between Northampton and Bedford (mileage paid at 45p per mile)
  • Be trustworthy and reliable
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

  • Tools & PPE, as necessary

Pay:
£34,000.00 per year
