The role of Marketing and Sales Assistant will see you provide invaluable support to the Marketing Manager in all aspects of the marketing mix, with a particular focus on social media management.

This role would be suitable for a recent graduate, or someone who has worked in a similar role previously.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement
  • Monitor and analyse social media trends, insights, and performance metrics to optimize content and campaigns
  • Assist in the development of eyecatching graphics, images, and shortform videos for use in various digital marketing materials
  • Other areas such as content generation, post promotions, advertising
  • Coordinate promotional activities to include Literature, catalogues and point of sale materials, online.
  • Create and maintain product imagery
  • Liaise with external organisations e.g. PR consultants, web designers, media, forums, exhibition groups etc
  • Create content for a variety of areas, including blogs, exhibitions, press releases
  • Ensure consistency across all marketing activity and follow brand guidelines including tone of voice
  • Coordinate promotional and sponsorship activities
  • Attend exhibitions and events
  • Undertake advertising and direct marketing activities
  • Undertake market research activity as necessary
  • Work closely with the Group internal teams to support campaign activities
  • Assist the sales team with a variety of tasks as required
  • On occasion assist in other departments as needed
  • Other relevant tasks as requested by the Directors and Management
  • No Working Remotely, this is an officebased role.

Skills and Qualifications
Essential

  • Must have good knowledge of social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
  • Creative thinking and ability to generate innovative ideas for content creation
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • A passion for digital marketing and a creative mindset
  • Good organisational skills
  • Enjoy working within a team and alone
  • Hardworking, agile and willing to take on new challenges at short notice
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage your own time and priorities within the working day
Desirable

  • Previous experience in a social media or marketing role
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative products is a strong plus
  • Strong understanding of social media trends and best practices
  • Ability to conceptualise and create visually appealing graphics and shortform videos
  • Marketing or Graphic Design qualification
Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5pm, office based
