Description

You will preferably have experience of working in a care home with elderly people, and ideally have NVQ level 2, although training will be given.


The role of Care Assistant involves ensuring all residents are cared for, the health and safety of the home is managed, visiting relatives are welcomed and the completion of the necessary paperwork.

You will support up to 27 older people in a registered care home, with personal care, moving & handling, eating & drinking and with personal safety.

You will assist with daily activities, providing residents with physical and emotional support.
You will always promote excellent care within the staff team.

Must be available to work alternate weekends.

You will be passionate about ensuring that the lives of the residents are lived to the full, encouraging independence. You will treat all residents with the dignity and respect you would expect yourself.


Job Types:
Full-time and Part-time

Salary £10.50 per hour
