Are you looking for a new challenge within a growing local business? We are currently recruiting General Operatives to work here at OE Electrics.

OE Electrics design and manufacture the latest technology, ensuring products are fit for purpose and allow you to charge your devices anywhere

This is a full time (37.5 hours) position, Monday to Friday, training will also be provided.

There are multiple roles available in the following areas:

Assembly

• Wiring up of 13A or other plugs
• Assembly of power units, etc including where necessary soldering and screw fixing
• Cutting of cable to length
• Crimping of terminals using crimping machine
• Pneumatic riveting of terminal blocks for socket
• Assembly of 13A socket
• Preparation and termination of data cables
• Testing of assemblies
• Any other assembly work as required

Goods In / Stores / Picking

• Picking of jobs aiming for 100% accuracy at all times
• Report stock shortages to management
• Restock shelves
• Sign in pick sheets
• Goods Inwards duties (e.g. checking in goods, signing for deliveries)
• Stock control duties (e.g. checking stock levels and location for audits)
• Replace faulty parts on Production Teams
• To complete tasks using a computer as required
• Organise Fork Lift Truck to ship pallets within company premises

General

• Work at a good speed
• Ensure the work area is kept tidy at all times
• Be aware of and work to high quality standards
• Work on own initiative where required
• Train new staff as necessary
• Carry out any other duties as requested by Team Leader and senior management
• Manual handling
