Closing Date: 19/03/2024

  • DC Thomson

To help DC Thomson become audience first, the Insight and Audience units were formed around 3 years ago - bringing together the component parts in understanding audience behaviour, motivations, purposes, and opportunities.

Our close colleagues in Audience work as data analysts, social media and search specialists and performance and brand marketing experts.

The Insight team concentrate on bringing to life our audience and understanding why, from their point of view, they are demonstrating the behaviours we can see from analysis of data.

We identify needs, understand audience perceptions, develop user mindsets, uncover pain points and feedback on how we might improve experience or better connect our brands and products with their needs.

In doing so, we work across many areas of the business, from understanding title audience wants and needs and working on their development, to supporting our content teams, user testing with prototypes built by our UX and digital product teams, and supporting market discovery for new opportunities.

Working for the DC Thomson Insight team, you will see the impact your insight can make in helping shape and driving the company towards its goals.
