The Governors and Headteacher at Kells Lane Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and efficient Administrative Assistant to join our school team from 1st September 2023.


We are looking for someone who:
- has an excellent work ethos, who can cope with the demands of a busy school office
- can maintain a welcoming reception to the school for all pupils and visitors
- has previous admin experience with a recognised admin qualification (including typing skills) i.e. RSA.
- can work proactively as well as reactively
- can organise, maintain and monitor pupil attendance and all pupil systems
- has previous experience of the Schools Information Management System (SIMS)
- has previous experience of handling cash, data entry and maintaining an electronic diary system

  • Can produce reports, take minutes of meetings and carry out other duties to support the School Business Manager, Head Teacher and Governors


You will be expected to be able to manage your own workload and respond to the many interruptions throughout the school day.

You need to be committed and motivated in your work.

Proposed hours of work 8.00am - 4.00pm Monday - Thursday, 8am - 3.30pm on Fridays term time only.

Some flexibility may be required around these hours.
