Recra is working in partnership with a well-established precision engineering company based in Melton Mowbray which is currently looking for an experienced Quality Inspector.

Full Job Description:
Quality Inspector:

We have an eye for quality and service, manufacturing a vast range of machined, fabricated, welded, pressed, painted, and laser-cut components to our customer's specifications.

Job role & responsibilities:

Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, customer process information, ISO Standards, and BOM'S
Liaison with customers, material, and subcontract suppliers
First off inspection, Patrol inspection, Batch Inspection
Complete First Article inspection reports to various client specifications
Goods in inspection and Certification verification
Calibration
Communicate with all levels of management.
Previously worked under an ISOcontrolled system

Knowledge, Skills, Experience:

A highly motivated and proactive person who can demonstrate successful experience in a similar role.
You must have previous quality control experience in a subcontract engineering or sheet metal background.
IT literate and fully competent with Microsoft Office packages.
The salary for the position is depending on experience.

CMM Experience would be essential.

As most of the work is bespoke and a high percentage of small batch runs, this is an interesting, varied and challenging position.

Full-time, Permanent.

Hours; Working Afternoon Shifts.
