Responsible to General Manager


Responsible for:

The smooth operation of Fair Trader's web shop and associated systems, ensuring a high standard of customer service and achievement of targets.

Key responsibilities:
Operation of the website

Ensuring the website runs efficiently and profitably

Promoting the website by using all appropriate channels

Customer relations:
Ensuring orders are processed and fulfilled efficiently

Dealing with queries and complaints in line with Fair Traders' values

Managing the returns system

Premise management:
Ensuring the premises are kept clean, safe and fit for use

Complying with the terms of the lease

Acting as key holders

Reporting:
Using analytics to report to the General Manager

Taking action on the basis of available information to improve the web shop's performance

Person Specification:
Committed to the values of Fair Trader and to ethical retailing

Minimum A level education

Good customer relations and communication skills

Willingness to accept feedback and resolve problems

Able to take the initiative to suggest improvements to working practices

Experience of using online channels to promote and achieve results

Ability to use budgetary and performance data to achieve targets

Able to work alone, without supervision, and as part of a wider team

Willingness to be flexible and to adapt

Able to move large parcels and lift objects onto shelves

£10.50 per hour

• Huddersfield: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

• A-Level or equivalent (preferred)
