Safran Helicopter Engines are the world's leading manufacturer of rotorcraft turbines and the only one dedicated exclusively to this market.

Our UK facility is the European Maintenance Centre Hub for the SHE Group, performing level 1 to level 3 maintenance and repairs on complex helicopter engine components.

Our experienced teams partner with our broad, global customer base, providing both technical expertise and broader support in both the fixed wing and rotary wing markets.

What will I be doing?


As Learning & Development Coordinator your core focus will be to support the HR and L&D function as well as the wider business.

Key Objectives
Provide Learning and Development support to managers and employees
Ensure the efficiency of the Learning and Development processes and practices
Provide HR operational and transactional support to the business

Key Responsibilities
Advise employees and managers on appropriate training solutions for personal development and business requirements.

Liaise with external training providers and build strong working relationships to ensure the training is suitable and of the highest standard.

Coordinate the training booking process from initial employee request through to the delivery of the course, ensuring all training is recorded and evaluated by employees.


  • Being the main point of contact for the Selia
  • Learning Management System and Training Management System.

Manage the interface and the annual Personal Development Review and Mid-Year Review process, offering guidance on objective setting and holding training sessions to ensure new employees are proficient is using Selia - Success Factors (Twist).

Support the implementation of future modules of Selia developed with Safran Corporate function. Supporting the testing of global/regional system upgrades as required.

Create the training plan using Safran's performance development system to ensure employee requirements are met where possible and in line with the budget.

Administer People Reviews with managers to discuss learning and development opportunities and succession planning for their departments.
Liaise with other Safran training functions in the UK and France to work cross functionally
Co-ordinate the reporting of monthly KPIs.
Be involved in the recruitment life cycle from start to finish, from on boarding to exit interviews.

  • Attend interviews and assessments and provide advice to the Hiring Managers.
Assist in the creation of the monthly payroll.

Qualifications:

English and Maths GCSE grade 9-4 (A*-C)
CIPD qualified to at least level - or working towards
