Assistant Management Accountant | £28,000 - £30,000 | PE Backed | Central Leeds, LS1

I am currently partnering with one of the leading PE backed businesses in Leeds who are looking to bring on an ambitious Management Accountant.

This would suit a PQ ACCA/CIMA finance professional who is keen to progress in a fast paced dynamic environmentwhere hard work is rewarded

In this role you will provide assistance to the Management Accounts team to meet key objectives.

You will produce management reports and conduct analysis on cost reports, as well as dealing with day to day finance queries.

Key Responsibilities;

Assist with the preparation of the monthly management accounts and supporting data including cost of sales reconciliations
Provide monthly variance analysis on various areas within the business
Maintain Balance Sheet reconciliations including accruals & prepayment control accounts
Liaise with the other finance departments with regards to providing correct information at source
Respond to queries from senior managers within the business
Ensure appropriate systems and internal controls are maintained
Either part qualified ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent) accountant, or qualified by experience
Some experience in a similar role preferred
Sound knowledge of accounting principles, compliance and auditing
Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Excel
