At Pivot we are firm believers that children deserve the best.
Within our schools, we educate and assist children and young individuals from Key Stages - 5. The focus is on those who have faced exclusion from traditional education systems, have not thrived in mainstream schooling, or possess an EHCP necessitating a specialized placement.
Our teams engage in remarkable daily efforts, significantly impacting some of the most intricate and demanding children, many of whom have histories of trauma.
Operating within the Pivot Academy Kirklees (upper provision) involves providing tailored backing to Key Stage 4 students with diverse complex needs, including many with EHCP backgrounds.
We collaborate with students and their families to deliver personalized support tailored to each child's unique requirements, enabling them to pursue various qualifications and diverse pathways leading to employment.
We are presently in search of a Lead for Child Protection responsible for overseeing child safeguarding measures within the academy.
Working in close collaboration with the Lead Social Worker and DSL, Headteacher, teachers, and behavior leads, you will offer guidance and assistance to young people, parents or caregivers, and occasionally to educational institutions and external organizations.
