Here is what you can expect to be doing:
The Sales Manager is responsible for delivering the sales strategy through current customers whilst expanding the client base.

You will be the focal point for sales activities between the company and its customer(s), ensuring exceptional customer service and client satisfaction.

Duties include, but not limited to, driving sales, development of customer base, customer relationship management, delivery of proposals, representing the company at events and trade shows.


Principal responsibilities:


  • Managing all aspects of sales related customer relationships both direct with the client and internally.
  • Increasing sales and client base in line with company strategy.
  • To represent Brookhouse at our customer and be the voice of the customer within Brookhouse.
  • Organising and attending all relevant customer meetings on site or at customer premises.
  • Management of all enquiries received and submission of proposals.
  • Maintaining full customer sales profile and performance KPI's including win/loss, profitability and sales targets.
  • Ability to extract and summarise RFQ information for the purposes of bid/nobid process.
  • Participation in contract reviews, discussions and negotiations.
  • Involvement in new product introduction including handover to operations, where necessary, and monitoring through contract life.
  • Be the first point of contact for all sales related business activities.
  • Representation of the company at trade shows and events.
  • Other duties as appropriate in support of the customer and internal departments.
  • Uphold processes that assure the effective Health, Safety and Environmental best practices as defined by the Brookhouse HSE management system.

A few things about you:


  • Experience of sales management within an aerospace manufacturing environment, or similar, with a relevant degree qualification desirable.
  • Commercially astute with good understanding of business cases
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Understanding of strategic and sales strategies.
  • Computer literate and experienced in MS Office to a high standard including Excel.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive & organised.
  • Problem solving mentality.
  • Analytical thinker and selfaware.
  • Highlevel customer and business awareness.
  • Ability to travel, hold a clean UK driving license and passport.
  • Flexibility to carry out tasks and duties.
  • Teamworker

Brookhouse Aerospace Limited (Brookhouse) manufactures a range of composite structures, producing monolithic and sandwich parts from a range of materials, including carbon fibre, glass and Aramid cured by autoclave.

Brookhouse also manufactures sheet metal fabrications and machined metal parts with associated surface treatments and integrated assemblies. Specialist capabilities include a full kitting service and a dedicated Spares and Repairs capability.
