We are a multi-company, family business with companies ranging from, Catering and Events, to Fitness and Antiques based both in the UK and Europe.
We are in search of an exceptionally organised and experienced Finance Assistant to assist the Finance Manager to process day-to-day transactions, and other duties.
The role will be based at our amazing wedding venue in Bentley, Farnham.Main Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable for all companies.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card transactions for all companies.
- Preparation of VAT returns.
- Assisting the Finance Manager with other tasks as required.
- General administration duties.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required:
- Minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
- Experience of Sage 50 and/or Xero Accounting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, in particular good Excel skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record keeping.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
- Working with multicurrencies would be an advantage.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Assisting team members as required, we are a small team and expect everyone to help and work together.
- The job requires the employee to be based in the office.

£23,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
