Trainee Estimator


Salary:
From £19,760 dependent on experience

Role type:
Permanent

Hours:
Monday-Friday (8:30-17:00), 40 hours per week
I am currently working with a client who specialises in providing fire and security solutions. The client is looking for a Trainee Estimator to join their expanding team based in Bury, Manchester.

Key Roles:

  • Take telephone enquiries from existing and potential clients
  • Discuss project briefs with clients
  • Estimate project costs which will include materials, equipment and labour
  • Submit bids and tenders
  • Liaise with potential clients to secure sales
  • Proactively communicate potential challenges or risks to a project and provide possible solutions

Requirements:


  • GCSE in Maths and English
  • Strong communication skills
  • A willingness to learn new skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Attention to detail
  • Good ICT skills

Desirable:

  • Knowledge/experience of AutoCAD
