National Key Account Manager, Automotive Components. National role with an ideal living location being Cheshire/Merseyside, Up to £62,000 Basic, £70,000 OTE + Company Car, pension, private healthcare and full benefits. This manufacturerof
precision components is a Tier One supplier to the commercial vehicle sector, truck, bus and coach, and the racing and high-performance automotive industries. The general automotive sector could use their products; however, they chooseto specialise in niches rather than the commoditised mass market.


The Company and Role


The role is managing a portfolio of £multi-million accounts and leveraging these existing relationships to enter new markets, particularly off-road vehicles, rail, and construction machinery.

They also have a wide range of groundbreaking products designedfor the burgeoning electric commercial vehicle sector. In addition, they are working in joint ventures with some of the largest battery manufacturers.


The role is currently National Account Management but based upon your success, account growth and growth into new markets, you will progress into people management.

The strategy is to triple the UK business and be a team of five in a focused five-year UKdevelopment plan.


What's Needed?


The role is ideal for a graduate calibre sales professional with brilliant communication skills, commercial flair and an ability to sell and specify components with complex supply chain solutions to senior engineering levels.


To apply, you will be a
proven business developer with contacts within the broad automotive sector OEMs and their supply chains.

You are expected to devise and execute your strategy and be commercially strong and technically able to converseat Design Engineer levels to get products tested and specified.


To succeed, you will be a brilliant Account Manager who is a patient and consultative technical sales professional that can manage multiple projects and a large pipeline of potential.

As a person, you will be used to working autonomously and being self-drivenand self-managing.
