Description

Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to elderly individuals in care homes or in a care facility
  • Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
  • Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding
  • Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations with clients

Experience:


  • Previous experience working as a Care Assistant or in a similar role is required
  • Knowledge of elderly care principles and practices
  • Familiarity with common health conditions affecting seniors, such as dementia and mobility issues
  • Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Compassionate and patient demeanour when dealing with elderly individuals
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Job Types:

£11.00-£12.00 per hour
