According to Age UK, half a million older people go at least 5 days a week without speaking to anyone at all.

As a Caregiver for Right at Home Bedford you can help support the vulnerable in their own homes and make a difference at a time when it has never counted so much.

Previous experience is not essential but a kind and caring attitude certainly is.

The Role
Our Caregivers support elderly private clients who live in their own homes. Duties differ from visit to visit. Some of our clients require varying levels of Personal Care i.e.

washing, dressing and others just need a little help getting their meals prepared or keeping on top of basic housework.

Are You New to Home Care?

To ensure you are fully prepared all staff undertake a thorough in-house training programme followed by regular ongoing and refresher training.

Your initial home visits will always be carried out with a senior colleague until you 'find your feet'.

You will also have management support on every home visit you then make and will not attend clients alone until you are comfortable.

Hours of work

We have a number of clients who need support spanning the whole day which allows your job to fit around your home life.

We are currently looking for those looking to work primarily weekens on a bank basis with visits planned in advance.
