Information Security Manager - West Yorkshire - to £75,000 plus AMAZING benefits


My client, an ambitious UK based Software house is looking to launch their software globally have an unbelievable opportunity for an Information Security Manager to join forward thinking and fast-growing company where you will take full responsibility forthe delivery and oversight of information security operations and ensuring alignment to the business's information security framework and specific client contractual requirements.


As an Information Security Manager your responsibility is to act as ISM for the global business, identifying security vulnerabilities and eliminating them with strategic solutions that increase data security and also as the ISO27001 Project Manager to ensuresuccessful completion of annual audits and/or management of Corrective Actions.

You will work in collaboration with the business to support maintenance and development of the combined management system to support successful maintenance of ISO9001 accreditation,plan, schedule, and manage Information Security and Quality audits, carry out the documenting and evidence gathering activities required for the business to maintain its ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 accreditation ensuring the business Information Security AssetRegisters, Risk Registers and Risk Treatment Plans remain up to date.


You will also ensure scheduling, attending, and chairing regular Information Security meetings throughout the business, whilst ensuring agreed actions from those meetings are followed-up on and completed as required.

assessing risks to systems, and developingplans to minimise potential threats, assist in the designing of new security systems or the upgrading of existing ones, plan for disaster recovery in the event of security breaches, organise the simulation of security breaches (penetration testing), investigatereported incidents and weaknesses, while carrying out corrective actions, creating, updating, and circulating formal Information Security policies and procedures whilst ensuring they meet information and network security standards
