I am looking for a stores person who can start immediately for an engineering firm in Sudbury, Suffolk.

We are looking for an experienced stores person who is also able to assist in wider duties, such as basic assembly, workshop upkeep, forklift driving etc.

Stores duties include:
-

Physically putting away goods that come into the factory while using the computer system to identify locations.
Assist in Picking and packing customer orders.
Using a forklift (once qualified) to unload and load lorries.
Learning the job and tasks of our Stores and Logistics Manager to provide cover when necessary.
Within the wider warehouse:
Assist the fitting / assembly team to build machines, by building basic assemblies.
Assist in keeping the shop floor tidy.
Assist in inventory checks to ensure stock levels are sufficient.

You must be computer literate to be considered for this role.

An in-date counterbalance forklift license is advantageous but not essential.

Hours of work are 07:00-16:00 Monday-Thursday with a 12:00 finish on a Friday.
