Your New Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Highway Project Administrator to join our dedicated team at Staffordshire County Council.


Salary:
£22,000


Contract:
Permanent


Hours:40 per week


Location:
Stafford


As a Highway Project Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and assisting our team across all facets of highway services, ensuring smooth coordination and execution of projects.


Your Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the preparation of accurate reports and meticulous documents.
  • Participate in meetings, actively sharing insights and opinions.
  • Offer support in project administration, including timeline coordination and record maintenance.
  • Manage additional projects as required, showcasing your strong organizational skills.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders, driving toward project objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancement and propose innovative solutions.
  • Prioritize tasks adeptly, consistently meeting deadlines.
  • Display adaptability and flexibility in managing evolving priorities.
  • Conduct research and analyse data to bolster project strategies.
  • Employ critical thinking and problemsolving to surmount obstacles and attain project goals.

We're Interested in Hearing From You If You Possess:

  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in problemsolving.
  • IT literacy.
  • Sound knowledge of project management principles.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Desirable qualifications include familiarity with SAP or Integra finance systems, which will facilitate a seamless transition into the role. However, such experience is not mandatory, as we are committed to providing the necessary training.
