Responsibilities:

• Upholster furniture pieces according to specifications and customer requirements
• Cut, sew, and attach fabric or leather to furniture frames
• Use hand tools and power tools to remove old upholstery and make necessary repairs
• Measure and cut foam or padding materials to fit furniture pieces
• Assemble and fabricate furniture components as needed
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Experience:

• Previous experience as an Upholsterer or in a similar role preferred
• Mechanical knowledge and understanding of furniture construction techniques
• Proficiency in sewing and working with different types of fabrics and materials
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in upholstery work
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is a plus
