LARA Search is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Education Assistant with a specialization in geography to join an outstanding secondary school in Greenwich.

Responsibilities:

Assist the geography teacher in delivering engaging and effective history lessons to secondary school students.
Support the teachers in planning and preparing educational materials and resources.
Provide individualized attention and support to students who may require additional assistance.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and academic growth.
Help maintain classroom discipline and ensure a safe and supportive environment for all students.
Collaborate with the teacher to assess student progress and provide feedback on their academic performance.

Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in geography, history, languages, English, social sciences, or a related discipline.
A genuine interest in education and a desire to make a difference in the lives of young learners.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and parents.
Organizational skills to assist in lesson planning and material preparation.
Patience, adaptability, and the ability to work well within a team.
A positive attitude and a passion for promoting student engagement and success.
