Job description
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Breakfast Club and After School Care team. You will be caring for children from primary 1 to primary 7 from 7:45am to 9:00am and 3pm to 6pm Mon

  • Fri
    (term time).

Breakfast Club duties include the following:

  • Providing a safe environment that meets the care and welfare needs of the children
  • Building positive relationship with children and parents/carers
  • Escort children to their class lines and supervise until they enter their classroom
  • Preparing breakfast for the children
  • Planning and undertaking a variety of fun activities with the children

Out of School Care duties you will be undertaking are as follows:

  • Collecting children from school, escorting them to Out of School Care Base
  • Preparing snack for children
  • Planning and undertaking a variety of fun activities with the children
(linked to Curriculum for Excellence)

  • Updating and maintaining children's profiles
  • Ensuring the children are safe and their care and welfare needs are met
  • Building relationships with Parents
We are looking for someone who is energetic, bubbly, reliable and can work well in a team.

Rate of Pay for Breakfast Hour
- £10 per hour

Rate of pay for Out of School Care Hours - up to £10 per hour

We are currently working in-line with the Scottish Governments guidance on school aged childcare.

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Glasgow, G64 1QE: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Nursery: 1 year (preferred)
  • Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
