Head of Production and Supply- Full Time- Chesterfield
Head of Production and Supply:

We are Global Brands Ltd, the leading independent drinks brand development business that owns, markets and distributes an enviable collection of products across the RTD/RTS, spirits, soft drinks and beer categories.

We've developed some of the best performing brands in the market place such as VK, HOOCH and Franklin & Sons.

Our recipe for success involves spotting market trends early, knowing our customers' business goals and needs, and having expert buying, marketing and sales teams.

Our Head Offices are based within our own award winning 4-star Hotel CASA in Chesterfield, North East Derbyshire.


Due to internal progression an opportunity has arisen for Head of Production and Supply. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company that has established itself globally, but still has the agility of an SME.


The role:


  • Overseeing the planning team and assisting in scheduling manufacture at 10+ external contract packing sites
  • Upholding a consistent product supply whilst maintaining a balanced level of stock hold, considering shelf life and storage parameters
  • Using historical sales analysis and sales team forecasting to maintain the above
  • Working alongside internal departments to bring NPD to fruition at a fast pace, often in line with firm multgrocer deadlines
  • Maintaining and building on existing strong relationships with our manufacturing and supplier partners and helping establish new ones
  • Looking to develop and expand all planning processes to improve efficiencies and remove cost
  • Building and maintaining cost of good records for all products supplied
  • Carrying out monthly audit stock checks with contract packers, predominantly remotely but occasionally on site
  • Executing a smooth financial yearend audit process and post audit analysis
This role is mainly office based with 1 day per week working from home.


The person:


  • A minimum of 35 years' experience within planning, FMCG experience advantageous
  • Previous office management experience
  • An organised and methodical approach to working with the ability to work well under time constraints
  • Have welldeveloped communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong supplier relationships
  • Strong numeracy skills
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly in excel.
