We are looking for a talent account director with strategic vision and ambition with experience gained within the events and communications industry, or brand experience world agency side.


Purpose


You will be a key interface between the agency and clients, responsible or proactive day-to-day management, as well as development of client relationships.

Client Management

  • Establish strong relationships across responsible client accounts
  • Ensure client satisfaction hits and exceeds business targets for the responsible client accounts
  • Manage and support project delivery teams to maintain high levels of positive client engagement
  • Keep abreast of client strategy, business issues and priorities as well as wider sector trends
  • Point of escalation for client grievances

Team Management

  • Manage and support the project delivery teams to find creative solutions to both client and internal challenges, encouraging knowledge sharing across all internal disciplines to ensure collaborative and informed work
  • Ensure each client project is resourced correctly and the team supported to do so
  • Ensure the team are working within agreed process frameworks
  • Identify development opportunities for team members and support them to achieve these

Commercial

  • Maximise client account growth opportunities and map these in Client Development Plans
  • Lead the pitch and business growth imperatives for the account portfolio
  • Ensure all client work is costed correctly and updated to reflect change requests
  • Monitor and manage account profitability to and above margin targets
  • Ensure financial reporting system is accurate for all projects
  • Report regularly at internal meetings and reviews on account development and financials for responsible client portfolio
