Location: Hybrid - Head Office - Quorum Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne**
This role is open to remote working with an expectation to work on average once a month from our Head Office in Newcastle.



Hours per week: 37

Salary:
Up to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience


About the role


We're seeking an experienced Human Resources Professional to join us as a
People Business Partner in the
People Services department.

The People Services department is a key function at NCFE where People are at the heart of everything we do.


We're a team of approximately 20 professionals, providing a proactive and effective service to our workforce of about 720 colleagues.

We're keen to innovate and enable the organisation to be a brilliant employer, supporting our leadership and management capability and culture in relation to, ownership and accountability of all relevant aspects of engagement, people and performance management and development.


How you'll make an impact:


  • Partnering NCFE's Executive team members along with Heads of Department in their directorate, supporting the achievement of the organisation's strategic objectives.
  • Driving a highperformance culture, coaching senior managers to ensure organisational success.
  • Supporting with the delivery of our People Strategy, getting involved in the design and development of People Initiatives in areas such as Colleague Experience, Performance Development, Pay and Reward and Talent Management.
  • Working closely with our Centres of Excellence including Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development and People Data and Systems to ensure that the People Service's Team has maximum impact when delivering key people activities.
  • Supporting with organisational change and transformation initiatives ensuring that the colleague is at the heart of any decisionmaking.
  • Building effective relationships and networks with key internal stakeholders to deliver operational excellence.
  • Identifying opportunities for talent attraction and people retention supporting Heads of Department with talent strategy


You'll be a credible, experienced HR professional, able to come in and immediately build strong partnering relationships up to Executive Level.

You'll work as part of a wider People Business Partner team, so collaboration and teamwork are key.


You'll have strong strategic instincts and will be used to using data and insight to make recommendations which will have strong impact on organisational performance.


We'd love to hear from you if you offer the following:

  • Experience as a Business Partner building effective working relationships with Senior Leaders
  • Strong strategic experience of delivering People Projects in one or more specialist areas.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Employment Law and best practice able to draw on this to provide pragmatic solutions.
  • A love for collaborating and being part of a team working with stakeholders to identify bestfit solutions.
  • An interest in professional development keen to learn by doing and develop as a practitioner.
