Overview

2fawcett are recruiting for a Production Planning administrator to join an industry leading manufacturing business in Sheffield, on a full time, permanent basis.

An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an individual to work within a motivated and pro-active Planning and production team where you will support the daily scheduling and production activity of allocated production processes.


Responsibilities of the Production Planning Administrator

  • Create efficient and innovative codes for SAP, our advanced production system. Your skills will contribute to streamlining processes and enhancing productivity.
  • Generate insightful reports to monitor daily live orders, track key performance indicators (KPIs) for overdue orders, and expedite critical tasks. Your reports will provide valuable information for datadriven decisionmaking.
  • Ensure that production orders are processed, dated, and planned according to customer requirements. Your meticulous attention to detail will help us meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Route optimisation, make necessary amendments to routings to contribute to operational efficiency.
  • Bill of Materials (BOM)

Management:
Create and maintain accurate BOMs, essential for smooth production operations.

  • Take charge of releasing production orders in a timely manner, aligning with our schedules and objectives.
  • Make necessary amendments to routings, including managing Engineering Change Orders (ECO) and Product Change Notifications (PCN) to maximise operational efficiency
  • Develop comprehensive and userfriendly checklists using Microsoft Excel, simplifying tasks and improving productivity for the team.
  • Adhere to and promote the responsibilities outlined in our H&S policy, ensuring a safe work environment for all team members.

About you

  • You will have a strong knowledge and understanding of SAP
  • Desirable experience within a production environment
  • Experience working within a planning capacity as an administrator or simular
  • A good understanding of the overall production process
  • A Team Player with Drive, Excellent numerical and analytical skills

Salary:
£23,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
