Description

Our client is an enginnering company who has been a leader in their field for over 30 years. They are looking for an experienced Press Brake Operator to join their expanding team.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape sheet metal according to blueprints and specifications
Read and interpret blueprints to determine the correct dimensions and tolerances for each job
Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accurate measurements
Select appropriate tooling and dies for each job
Monitor the quality of finished products through visual inspection and use of quality inspection tools
Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to achieve desired results
Perform routine maintenance on press brake machines
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Skills:

Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings
Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and processes
Experience operating press brake machines and other related equipment
Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
Ability to use hand tools effectively
Attention to detail and ability to maintain high quality standards
Strong problemsolving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues with the machine or the product
