Job Overview:

Duties:

• Measure and cut flooring materials to fit specific areas
• Install various types of flooring such as Safety flooring, marmoleum, cap and cove, commercial carpets both sheet and tile.
• Prepare subfloors by removing old flooring and undertaking all types for subfloor preparation
• Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete installations
• Follow site plans and cutting sheets.
• Inspect and clean installed floors to ensure quality and durability

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Floor Layer 5 + years preferable
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
• Knowledge of different flooring materials and installation techniques
• Experience in both domestic and contract disciplines and advantage
