    Job Title: Functional Assessor

    Work-Life Balance for Qualified Nurses

    We are seeking a registered Nurse to work as a Functional Assessor in our team. As a Functional Assessor, you will have regular working hours from 9am-5pm and the opportunity to work part-time if desired.

    This role offers the chance to make the most of your medical skills while enjoying true hybrid working.

    The Role

    As a Functional Assessor, your primary responsibility will be to assess individuals and evaluate how their disabilities or conditions affect their work life. You will use your clinical expertise to gather medical history, perform physical examinations, and produce accurate reports for the Department of Work & Pensions (DWP).

    You will work independently but be part of a wider multi-disciplinary team, with support available when needed.

    About the Job

    • Minimum 12 months broad-based clinical post-registration experience within the past 5 years.
    • Experience working with adults in various clinical situations, including Surgical, Medical, A&E, Community, and Practice Nursing.
    • NMC-registered with Continuous Professional Development on your CV.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt to changing environments.
    • IT skills and experience using various software.
    • Self-awareness and commitment to professional development.
    • Honesty and integrity in maintaining confidentiality and customer satisfaction.
    • Ability to work autonomously to meet deadlines and standards.
    • Team player with a willingness to contribute to quality customer service.
    • Eligibility to work in the UK is essential.
