This role is vital to the service we deliver those 8 million customers and sits within our
_Green Recovery Programme_.


The Green Recovery Supply Pipes Team are replacing approximately 26,000 water supply pipes, which will protect customers from potential harmful effects from lead in drinking water: while notably reducing leakage from customer's pipes.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
We're looking for an
Administrator & Technical Support. This role is currently a 12 month fixed term contract.


The objective of the
Administrator & Technical Support role is to support and deliver administration support to our Supply Pipes team, both internally and externally.

The significance of the work you will do as an administration & technical support makes this such an exciting project to be a part of.

and to ensure the smooth running of the programme, many office-based tasks are essential. The role will require you to be engaging, proactive and customer centric in your approach.


You will be monitoring incoming registrations from customers, booking property inspections for service technicians to attend, ensuring that follow on work is raised and built correctly by our virtual technician team; alongside monitoring & managing customer complaints to the point of resolution and delegating the complaints to the appropriate manager.

You will be responsible for reports, correcting anomalies and raising and receipting financial purchase orders.

The role is responsible to review all elements of a Water infra job for accuracy to technically complete on SAP, most specially carrying out several technical checks and assessments and any necessary corrections to ensure all finance elements of a job are accurate and allocated correctly.


The role is reactive to the nature of the operational work, but you have set work which you must manage time and prioritise to enable work to follow.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE ROLE
In order to succeed in the
Administrator & Technical Support role, it is expected that you will have:

  • Excellent use of Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Experience in using computer generated reports to analyse and report data
  • An understanding of performance metrics & knowledge sharing when needed to
  • Driving operational performance with a customer mindset
  • Ability to listen effectively and gathers all relevant information by questioning, probing, empathising.
  • Understand business implications of not getting it right first time and drive to improve customer experience and business improvements.
  • The ability to work independently as well as in a team, sharing knowledge, being supportive and team spirited.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, confident at dealing with people at all levels.
  • Well organised, working in a controlled, structured, methodical manner with a measured approach to delivery.
  • Be a selfstarter with the ability and drive to seek out improvements.
  • The ability to work under pressure in times of high work volume to add value.
