Female Assistant with Responsibility for Personal Care
X 1 FULL TIME Hours per week 9am - 3pm (5 days) (including a 30 minute unpaid lunch break)
X 1 PART TIME - 11 Hours per week
- 9am 3pm (2 days) (including a 30minute unpaid lunch break)
We are looking to appoint 2 Female Personal Care Assistant to work at Victoria School.
Victoria School is an all-through school for children and young people aged 2-19 years with physical disabilities, complex health care needs and/or profound and multiple learning difficulties.
- support the varied, complex needs of our pupils
- communicate clearly and effectively with parents/carers, pupils and colleagues
- take ownership of tasks
- work flexibly to meet the needs of the school
- personal hygiene
- toileting and continence training
- hoisted transfers
- eating and drinking
You will be required to:
- keep records related to personal care in conjunction with the appropriate teacher/other officer
- maintain and clean personal care equipment and materials, clothing etc
- maintain toiletry supplies
- cooperatively with other staff supporting the pupils' educational and health care needs under the guidance of a member of the Senior Management or Senior Leadership Teams
- a willingness to undertake further training as deemed necessary is a requirement of the post
