A varied role for a maintenance enigneer has become available with a specialist manufacturing business, due to growing their existing team.

Maintenance Engineer

We are currently seeking a Maintenance and Facilities Engineer to be responsible for maintaining and improving the overall performance of the facility and equipment.

Our client is growing, which in turn means bigger premises and more equipment. They now need additional support of an extra maintenance enigneer.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing preventative and corrective maintenance on our equipment, as well as troubleshooting and repairing any issues that may arise.

You will also be responsible for maintaining and updating facility-relateddocumentation and records, and for working with outside contractors to improve and upgrade our facilities.

Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring that all facility and equipment related activities comply with safety regulations and standards.

The role will involve planned, reactive and project driven maintenance activity. Mechanically biased but working with a range of tasks and liaison with external contractors as required.

My Client

A specialist manufacturing business with a complex and bespoke plant equipment.
Their plant is continually evolving, and the mainteance enigneer will get involved in capex projects and installations.
The job is good all round role, and will encompass facilities maintenance as well.

As a maintenance enigneer

Good track record in fault finding, problem solving and rectification with plant and processing machinery.
Able to work to a PPM schedule, update spares list and help plan maintenance.
Able to work in a team and collaborate with external contractors.
Ideally qualified to NVQ level 3 or equivalent, although experience will be considered in place of qualifications.
