Service Charge Officer - Islington, United Kingdom - Best Edo Ltd
Description
A Service Charge Officer is required to calculate and invoice annual service charges (including building insurance and ground rent), shared ownership rent and other leasehold recharges across a residential and commercial portfolio.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years working in a residential leasehold management role, including: service charge calculation and invoicing, and delivering frontline services to residents.
- Knowledge of current legislation, case law and best practice relating to service charges and leasehold management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interpret and explain to a range of audiences relevant legislation and complex legal documents such as leases.
- Strong IT skills, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Access to at least intermediate level), and of Housing Management IT systems e.g. Northgate Housing.
- This role will require you to obtain an Enhanced satisfactory clearance from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
- Ability to attend evening meeting and assume out of hours commitments as may be necessary.
