This undergraduate placement through S2 Partnership is predominantly based at Johnson & Johnson, High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, within the Environmental Health, Safety & Sustainability team, with some additional travel within the Thames Valley areas.

Role Summary
We require a personable, enthusiastic and flexible undergraduate student studying for a degree in either Health & Safety / Environmental Management / Environmental Science / Environmental Health.
Primarily, the role is to support the provision of property management / facilities services at the High Wycombe site, to cover legal requirements and best practice standards as defined by Johnson & Johnson.
The role will specifically support the health & safety management and environmental programmes, reporting to the S2 Partnership's on-site Consultant.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Environmental Health & Safety Lead in establishing and maintaining high quality health & safety arrangements in accordance with Johnson & Johnson policy and practices, as well as local legislation
- Assist in the development and delivery of environmental programmes, some of which are Johnson & Johnson compliance programmes
- Support the EH&S team to develop the concept of continuous improvement and help to identify and implement improvements to processes and activities
- Monitor and record all energy consumption and water consumption on site and actively participate in the J&J Global Sustainability programmes
- Administer key EH&S programmes, such as ergonomics, radiation and the good saves processes
- Establish and maintain proper records in accordance with best practice rules
- Key involvement and delivery of site sustainability goals as part of the Johnson & Johnson Health Force initiative
- Handle special projects by defining the scope of project, establishing priorities and performing necessary tasks
- Independently resolve correspondence and telephone calls in manager's absence

- Must be selfmotivated and able to take initiative to work alone on projects

- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
The placement role is for approximately twelve months from June 2024 to June 2025 and will provide an excellent opportunity to gain practical work experience in a dynamic and forward-looking environment.
