We are a leading provider of Higher Education within the UK, with over 6000 students across 5 campuses (in London, Luton and Birmingham) and partnerships with the University of West London, De Montford University and Buckinghamshire New University.


Key responsibilities of the post include:

  • To prepare, develop, implement and maintain HR materials and documents (Contracts,letters, offer letters, and other documents) and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation.
  • To manage and maintain all staff electronic and hard files.
  • To organise and participate in the Job Interview process.
  • To obtain (and deal with requests for) employment references.
  • To coordinate and organise work experience placements.
  • To maintain robust and effective administrative systems.
  • To assist in mapping up processes and creating flow charts.
  • To collate and distribute information to staff regarding appropriate training courses available.
  • To maintain an accurate record of training undertaken by staff and checking staff do not exceed, or fail to reach, any training requirements.
  • To provide administrative support to the HR Team, advice to employees and managers on all HR administrative issues, including answering questions where applicable.
  • To maintain up to date Staff list & staff visa status information.
  • To take Minutes of meetings as and when required.
  • Other tasks and responsibilities depending on business needs.

You are also expected to:


  • Observe the clocking system of the College.
  • Give good notice of any absence (on the day of absence to call at the College's Reception and inform about his/her absenteeism not later than 8:30am); College and at external locations in respect of Continuing Professional Development (CPD);
  • Adhere to general standards of conduct embodied in College policies and procedures and safety, equality and diversity, etc.)
  • Work flexibly and efficiently, maintain the highest professional standards and promote and implement the policies of the College;
  • All members of staff are expected to manage and develop their role and responsibilities so as to focus on improving the College services to student and other clients. The individual should represent and positively market the College at any appropriate opportunity.
  • The College's values have been developed by the staff in the College and are intended to shape, develop and embed the kind of culture we all want to work within. These values are supported by behavioural statements and you are expected to practice these behaviours at all times and to contribute to their development throughout all parts of the College's operations, services and sites.
  • All staff is expected to maintain a high level of security and confidentiality of information in their work at all times.
  • Travel to other sites of the College

The post holder must respect the confidentiality of data stored electronically and by other means in line with the Data Protection Act 2018.

£22,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
