Manufacturing Expeditor/Assitant - Part-time - Hybrid working - 29 hours per week


Due to rapid expansion, we now require a part-time Manufacturing Expeditor to join the team in Haverhill, this role will be a hybrid role with 3 days on site and a further 5 hours working from home split over two days.

Duties will include but not limited to

  • Identify, chase, resolve and report to stakeholders any issues which will effect on time in full delivery to customers
  • Liaise with planning, production, and warehouse to ensure the smooth flow of product to meet customer demand
  • Have full ownership of orgainising all direct labour training and development.
  • Maintain and ensure accuracy of all training documentation.
  • Assist HR and Site Manager with recruitment of direct labour to meet production needs
  • Assist with the interviewing and onboarding of new starters
  • Produce monthly global reports detailing OTIF percentages and root cause analysis of orders which experienced delays.
  • Assist the site manager with the coordination of new manufacturing related programs to ensure delivery in agreed timescales.

Experience, knowledge & qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 years' experience as a manufacturing expeditor or similar role
  • Previous experience in training and training matrix's
  • Fibre optic industry experience an advantage
  • Knowledge of best practice in recruitment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
