Start Date:

ASAP

  • Qualified Teacher status
  • A background working in a pupil referral unit or with challenging behaviour
  • Excellent behaviour management skills
  • A passion for working with children with special needs and helping them reach their full potential

Responsibilities include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging and meaningful lessons to meet the needs of each student
  • Working closely with the the Senior Leadership Team other support staff to ensure a collaborative and effective approach
  • Liaise with the school SENCO and outside agencies
  • Monitoring and evaluating student progress and adapting teaching strategies as needed
  • Supporting students with speech and language delay to communicate effectively
  • Managing challenging behaviour in the classroom and implementing effective behaviour management strategies
