A haulage company in Blackburn is looking to bring on a finance manager on a permanent basis.
The job of the finance manager will be working closely with two to three members of staff, leading a small team and carrying out hands-on transactional work.
Key responsibilities of the Finance Manager Job:
- Credit control.
- Month end processes.
- Managing the daytoday financial operations (including, but not limited to, payroll and VAT returns).
- Assisting with cash flow and reconciliations where necessary.
- Control over the issuing and chasing of invoices on a monthly basis.
- Ensure payroll is processed timely and accurately.
- Managing PAYE, child support, fines, CIS and any similar processes for payroll.
- Financial reporting where necessary.
Key skills required for the Senior Management Accountant Job:
- Excellent knowledge and experience of Sage Line 50.
- Experience of leading a small team.
- Organised and driven, with the ability to be both handson and delegate tasks equally.
- Confident phone and written manner.
- At least three years' experience in financial management.
- Able to commute to Blackburn.
