A haulage company in Blackburn is looking to bring on a finance manager on a permanent basis.

The job of the finance manager will be working closely with two to three members of staff, leading a small team and carrying out hands-on transactional work.

They are looking for somebody with experience and confidence, that can work full time in office.

Key responsibilities of the Finance Manager Job:

Credit control.
Month end processes.
Managing the daytoday financial operations (including, but not limited to, payroll and VAT returns).
Assisting with cash flow and reconciliations where necessary.
Control over the issuing and chasing of invoices on a monthly basis.
Ensure payroll is processed timely and accurately.
Managing PAYE, child support, fines, CIS and any similar processes for payroll.
Financial reporting where necessary.

Key skills required for the Senior Management Accountant Job:

Excellent knowledge and experience of Sage Line 50.
Experience of leading a small team.
Organised and driven, with the ability to be both handson and delegate tasks equally.
Confident phone and written manner.
At least three years' experience in financial management.
Able to commute to Blackburn.
