Job overview:
We are committed to developing our Clinical/Counselling/Forensic psychologists and are expanding our psychology leadership structure.
We are looking for those who are innovative, flexible, and passionate about transforming and delivering services that provide trauma-informed, person-centred care in adult community mental health.
There will be opportunities to lead on and significantly contribute to the development of a new model of integrated primary and community mental health services linking Community Mental Health Teams and Primary Care Networks.
Interviews will be held in person in Cornwall on 26 May and/or 2 June 2023.
Main duties of the job:
The Lead Practitioner (Clinical/Counselling/Forensic) Psychologist role is a varied one providing balance between clinical work, supervision, consultation, leadership, and service development.
Skills and experience in supporting psychological practice in community mental health by contributing a psychological perspective to a multidisciplinary team's working and treatment planning are valued.
The Lead practitioner psychologists sit alongside the Lead psychological professionals, Lead Nursing and Allied Health Professionals, Medical and Operational colleagues as part of an experienced, compassionate, trauma informed and person-centred multidisciplinary leadership team.
We are keen to support psychologists' professional development. Training and supervision in leadership, and clinical interventions to deliver and support our NICE informed care pathways is encouraged. We have a track record of being able to provide ongoing training in CAT, CBT-P, DBT, EMDR, and FIP.Working for our organisation:
