A prestigious and reputable services company is looking for gas engineers, both service and installation, to join their thriving team.

Gas Service / Heating Engineer Job Summary

In their day to day duties they will be directly responsible to the Plumbing and Heating Division Manager and all queries relating to these duties should be addressed to them.

They will have a working knowledge of regulations pertaining to Gas and residential plumbing and heating systems, to allow them to carry out the installation, commissioning and servicing maintenance, fault-finding, and diagnostics on such systems.

They willbe able to install and commission new plumbing and heating systems and gas appliances.

They will carry out their work to customer standards whilst upholding safety guidelines and complying with regulations, company policies and standards set out within thecompany handbook and employment contract.

Required / Desired Skills and Qualifications

A completed Plumbing Apprenticeship
City & Guilds Level 3 or current equivalent qualification
Relevant Gas Safe qualifications applicable to the role
Selfmotivated and able to work under their own Initiative
Willing to further train in other areas of the trade
Previous Experience in (but not confined to);

Installation of residential plumbing systems and wiring, Heating Systems, Maintenance, Diagnostics / Fault Finding, Safety procedures, Testing and recording of installations including domestic Gas appliances.
