Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop tailored succession planning strategies for families and businesses.
2. Provide expert legal guidance in estate succession planning, including wills and trusts.
3. Guide clients through the succession planning process, addressing complex legal aspects related to succession, such as tax implications.
4. Assist clients in preserving assets, draft and maintain trust documents.
5. Offer ongoing support and advice to trustees and beneficiaries regarding trust management.
6. Handle disputes over the interpretation of a will.
7. Process Probate Registry applications for deceased estates.
8. Manage intestacy cases.
9. Provide guidance on inheritance tax matters, addressing queries from HMRC and identifying applicable taxes.
10. Advise business owners regarding estate matters following a death.
11. Draft and manage Deeds of Variation and Deeds of Renunciation.
12. Handle will trusts and associated legal documentation.
13. Resolve disputes over will interpretations, executor actions, or estate valuations.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

1. Qualified solicitor or equivalent.
2. 5+ years post-qualification experience (PQE).
3. Experience in dealing with estate planning, trusts, succession planning, probate, etc.
