Continental Days (4 On, 4 Off / Days Only)

£44,000 + Benefits

We are looking for a motivated Maintenance Co-Ordinator to join a market leading manufacturer in their respective field.

Reporting directly to the plant manager you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running.

You will be involvedin all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation.

With progressive training and development this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers.

The position will appeal to a strong engineer looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.

Role Description

  • Drive Continuous Improvement into the Plant
  • Lead Safety as a Priority to the Plant
  • Ensures planned maintenance activities are performed
  • Maintains good housekeeping
  • Ensures availability of spare parts
  • Assesses training needs of staff and ensures execution of training
  • Ensures staff are brought in to cover absenteeism and holidays
  • Authorizes overtime, as necessary, to meet operational goals
  • Manages short term capacity
  • Ensures efficient communication processes
  • Prepares shift schedules
  • Performs disciplinary actions
Skills and Qualifications

  • HNC/HND/Degree in Engineering
  • FMCG experience
  • Supervisory experience
  • Hands on experience running an engineering department
