Reed Industrial are seeking an electrical-biased
Maintenance Controller to join one of our key clients in
Newport


Our client are an industry leader in the resource recycling and sustainability space, with worldwide operations and huge scope for personal and professional growth and development.


As maintenance controller, you'll be responsible for repairing, replacing, and maintaining all machinery and structures at the Newport site in an efficient and professional manner.

Reporting directly to the maintenance manager, duties will include:

  • Front-line maintenance contractor safety management
  • Risk assessment/POWRA for maintenance jobs
  • Ensuring adherence to HSE protocol in the workshop and plant
  • Driving QHSE improvement across the site
  • Booking parts in/out
  • Ensuring availability of parts and critical spares

What's in it for you?

  • Basic rate of £18.89 per hour, with 33% shift allowance
  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Overtime available at 1.5x basic rate
  • Rotating shift pattern 6am2pm and 2pm10pm

What are we looking for?

  • A good understanding of QHSE legislations would be beneficial
  • Computer literacy with MS office package in particular

Pay:
£18.89 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
