Hunter Gatherer AHP have a fantastic long term locum opportunity based with an NHS run service in the Croydon/S.

London area (please enquire for exact location), for a Band 6 Pharmacist with any prior experience to join a highly distinguished London NHSTrust.

This opportunity will be within a satellite pharmacy dispensary and may require some cross site responsibilities.

PLEASE NOTE - You DO NOT need any hospital experience for this post, you just need to be on the GPHC, so newly qualified Pharmacists and those with only community experience are able to apply The hospital is extremely accessible using public transport.

Furthermore, this is a fantastic chance for career progression at speed, as training will be provided across the various aspects of the role including some initial information governance training

Job responsibilities will include completing the clinical screening of prescriptions and dispensing, medicines reconciliation outpatient dispensing, and discharge pharmacy services.

The working pattern will be 9am - 5:30pm (30 mins lunch break) Monday - Friday,there will be no on call or weekend working needed.

For the right applicant, part time working may be considered days per week).

As seen above, prior NHS Hospital experience is NOT a must here, so it offers the chance for a pharmacist to break into the hospital sector, and kick start their NHS career
The service is seeking someone to start immediately (March 2023), and the role will be a contract length of - 9 months
Locum Pharmacist - no hospital experience needed
£ £25 per hour (depending on experience)
Hospital experience not a necessity Community pharmacy experienced applicants welcome to apply

Cross site role - exposure to two hospital working environments.

Duration: - 9 months

Full time preferrable (open to part time 3 days minimum)
