Established in 2014, Ftec has grown to offer a full spectrum of property services including: Project works, Installations and Planned & Reactive Maintenance in - Heating, Plumbing & Electrical, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, BMS Controls, Fire Protection, Kitchen and Bathroom Replacements, Multi-Disciplinary Fabric Upgrades.

We are looking to enhance our existing team with the addition of a multi trade operative, particularly with someone that has previous experience in a Facilities, Reactive Maintenance type role.


Competitive rates of pay offered, to be discussed on interview and depending on experience.


You will be required to undertake a range of maintenance installation or repairs across various trades, including Plumbing, Carpentry, Joinery, Painting/Decorating, Plastering and Tiling.


Knowledge & Experience Required
Previous experience and knowledge across these trades is essential, particularly commercial plumbing maintenance and kitchen and bathroom installations.


The successful applicantant will:

  • Have the ability to identify Health and Safety actions prior to and during works, considering yourself and those around you.
  • Be customer focused and be able to adapt to the clients needs.
  • Deliver a high standard of works to within required timescales.
  • Have the ability to use appropriate access equipment, although ongoing training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out a range of Reactive Works and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) type activities across the South West
  • Attend repairs and maintenance appointments on time and complete works on the first occasion, where possible.
  • Provide accurate information to Helpdesk/Surveyors to be able to update the client, quote for any follow up work required or organise materials required
  • Responsible for the safe use and maintenance of the Company's vehicle, equipment and tooling
  • Remove and take away any waste/debris on a daily basis and upon the completion of any works
  • Complete any written or electronic documentation and records including time monitoring to enable the accurate calculation of costs, and update property records.

  • Construction: 5 years (preferred)
