The Role


We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Licensing Consultant to join our Commercial Development & Sales team at PRS for Music.


Please note:
This is an FTC until the end of December 2024.


As a Licensing Consultant you will be responsible for not only providing first class licensing advice to our customers, but also finding and securing new business opportunities across our Audio Product, Online, Radio and Production Music Rate Card licensing schemes.


Responsibilities:

As our Sales Licensing Consultant, some of your day to day duties will include

  • Act as the main point of contact for licensees, ensuring they have the required licences in place to deliver their services, proactively identifying and resolving any gaps in their licensing requirements
  • Undertake proactive market analysis and research to identify opportunities for increased licence penetration and revenue growth, proactively following up on resulting leads and meeting with prospective customers to sell the benefits of using of our member's music
  • Contribute to and succesfully deliver result inline with the licensing sales strategy, liaising with the licensing management team and the Marketing dept to ensure best results
  • Work closely with our service partners to ensure efficient, timely and accurate flowthrough of royalties and resolve internal queries (including memberinitiated queries) in relation to own accounts
  • Sell the benefits of and provide expert advice on Production Music Rate Card licensing, ensuring licensees are directed towards the correct tariffs and provide support to customers using the Licence Manager System
  • Respond to Record Company queries from new or nonkey licensees and liaise with partner company NMP in order to deal with any invoice amendment requests that may arise as a result

The salary for this position is up to £30,000
per annum, depending on experience.

The Process
Our interview process for this role is simple and as follows:

  • First stage interview virtually on MS Teams.
  • Second stage interview in person at our London Bridge Hub.

Location
Our London Bridge Hub is based within Hays Galleria and overlooks the River Thames. When you see the view, we are sure you will want to join us in our collaborative working space

We offer a hybrid working model, allowing employees to work from home for up to 3 days per week.
