Are you an adaptable and proactive administrator looking for a temporary assignment in an academic setting? Do you thrive at providing exceptional support in a fast-paced, dynamic environment? Signature Recruitment has a fantastic opportunity for a Programme Administrator to join our client, a world-class science-based university in London.

This temporary role requires a minimum of three days on-site presence with flexibility to cover additional exam sessions as needed.

Starting immediately, the assignment will run for 3 months.


In this vital position as Programme Administrator, you will join a dedicated team supporting the BSc Medical Biosciences (BMB) programme.

As the year's busiest period approaches, your focus will be on supporting exams and assessment tasks.

You will assist the team in delivering assessments, producing assessment materials, support with the production and maintenance of spreadsheets, and coordinate exams invigilation.

Additionally, you'll assist with any ad hoc administrative tasks that may arise to support the effective delivery of assessments.


Programme Administrator Key Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with the Programmes Manager and Officers to organise, execute, and follow up on all BMB assessments, including written exams and course assessments.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining assessmentrelated spreadsheets, ensuring accuracy in data entry related to results and feedback.
  • Prepare and manage exam documentation and materials, ensuring all logístical aspects of exam delivery are flawless.
  • Participate in the coordination of internal events such as examiner training sessions, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the programme.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support, optimising programme delivery through improved processes and system efficiencies.

Programme Administrator Essential Skills:


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including familiarity with functions like CountIF and VLookup.
  • Strong IT skills and a proven ability to adapt to new systems.
  • Excellent organisational capabilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problemsolving.
Required skills

Technically proficient with an aptitude for learning new software and systems.
