Here at Kerry Collins Recruitment, we are delighted to represent a client who have an established professional practice located on the borders of Shropshire, Staffordshire and Cheshire.

Currently looking to add a Technician/ Planning Researcher to their growing business.

Areas of business for my client include town planning, for minerals, waste, housing, and leisure uses. negotiation and management of mineral leases, mineral reserve assessments, valuation, rating and expert witness.

Clients range from private property and landowners to SME companies and large plc's as well as Local Government.

My clients expanding workload presents an opportunity for an enthusiastic team player who would relish the challenge of a diverse range of work and to expand their horizons and become a key player.

The research work is wide ranging in nature and content with the preparation of reports as required.

The role of the Technician/ Planning Researcher:

Preparing computer generated plans on Vectorworks and contributing to the development of the firm's capability in 3D modelling

- environmental impact assessments (EIAs) etc

Preparing written reports and planning statements
Assisting with the project management of EIAs and with preparation of scoping requests and full
EIA statements
Supporting mineral resource appraisals from desk study research through to site investigation in
Liaising as required with contractors, clients, local planning authorities and regulatory authorities
Being part of the team in helping to run and develop the business

Some experience in CAD drawing and guidance on Vectorworks.

Training will be provided.
